im not extreme. I work in retail so i dont agree with getting two hundred bucks worth of stuff for 2 cents. I am ok with getting free items every now and then.

I'm not extreme but I do coupon. Unfortunately there hasn't been anything worth while lately. I really hope that changes soon cause I'm wasting money on newspapers

confused A work shop?  Interesting, and where did you find such a work shop?

Quoting shay0810:

I would not say I coupon to the extreme, now. I did for a while, then we moved and I quit for awhile. but I do coupon. And I went to a workshop to learn how to do the extreme couponing. I want to get back into it!

I don't clip often, and I am not extreme by any means.

No. I am a realistic couponer (I like to save 50%, and I often do). I don't have the time to do the extreme stuff, plus I only get 1 newspaper, up to 4 if there is a coupon I really like that makes it worthwhile to buy more. I also don't believe in 'buying' coupons. A lot of extreme couponers need extreme amounts of coupons.

I used to be extreme and had a comfortable stockpile. Unfortunately Kroger stopped double/triple coupons last year which totally messed up my plans. I'm slowly depleting my stockpile which is going to stink when I run out.

I don't consider myself as extreme. I get many things for free or cheap, but I don't hoard or clear shelves. My average savings is 75%, more on toiletries and less on food.
