I'm not too proud to:
When ordering pizza, I'm not too proud to empty free packets of parmesan cheese and crushed red pepper packets into my own containers at home.
To take home left-overs from a restaurant.
To put the crackers from a salad into my purse for later.
To pick up a penny from the ground. (I once found $100!)
Accept used items from family.
To color my own hair.
To cut my son's hair myself.
To shop at Goodwill.
To keep my "outdated" decor.
---
Oh, and in case anyone thinks I'm poor...far from it.
I'm proud to say I'm frugal!
My husband likes McDoubles plain, and I like them with extra onion and pickles. So he orders all of his stuff on the side, and I put it on my burger. LOL
I went with Timewarner a couple of years ago, because I fell for their $99 package. Well after 2 years my bill went up to $249!
So, I switched back to Dish Network. It is only $62 a month. I don't need a house phone! I have Earthlink for internet! I don't need anything more then that. It is on $14.99 a month.
My husband and I discussed it. He said it affects you the most, so we will do what you want. I don't want to pay $250 to Timewarner. So I am very proud to admit we downsized and went with DSL instead of broadband.
I can use them- reuse- and reuse again and again! I pack individual meat servings in them, and cook them for myself during the day.
Quoting KenzieQsMommy:
I'm not too proud to reuse plastic baggies from the pancakes I freeze
