We have really enjoyed the Butterfly Garden and had to keep them longer than planned because of the cold nights. However these butterflies are always laying eggs and several hatched today, forcing us to place them outside. Hundreds of little larve, and the butterflies are still laying more. I sure hope this boosts our butterfly population here.

I just hope they aren't a kind that like to munch on garden plants. We were over-run by swallowtails one year in MN. They LOVE carrot greens!

WOW! What a bargain those butterflies turned out to be. At least the kids are getting a good look at the life stages of a butterfly, and it's likely to be an experience they'll never forget.
