I never knew that, I just put mine in warm water too.

I also buy it in small amounts since the local organic honey is sooooo expensive. That way its all gone before it crystalizes.
Rhonda's right. I threw out crystalized honey until I learned from a beekeeper that it is perfectly good. Just reheat it. I didn't, however, know about the freezing. Thanks, as always, Rhonda! =)

I haven't tried it myself, yet. We go through a 5 lb. jar in about 6 weeks so it doesn't have time to crystallize. LOL This is just a little tip I heard.
