...point me in the right direction for nice dress shoes that aren't extremely pricey?? I'm probably going to have to get rid of my high heels since I'm still recovering from foot surgery (3rd time's the charm, right?), so I was thinking that maybe a slight wedge or something might be ok....and probably a more rounded toe, but I am totally clueless as to where to start.....help!!! please???

Famous Foot wear or shoe carnival always have some cute shoes im sure if you browse online also you can find some sites that have cute cheap shoes.
thank you...not sure if we have a payless in my town (smallish town between 2 HUGE college towns), but I think we have a famous footwear in the next town over....will take a look, thanks again.
I know this seemed silly, I usually just buy what I like at target or wherever, but since I'm going to have to change the style/height of shoes, I felt a bit clueless
Do you have a thrift store in town? I just picked up a brand new (never been worn) pair of New Balance tennis shoes for my daughter for $2. You might be surprised at what you can find at thrift stores.

If you have a nordstroms rack they have good clearance from time to time.
