It's really not about the money.  It is about helping someone who would love to be a parent but is unable to carry her own child.  The money just helps.

I would do it, but I'm overweight so I doubt I qualify... My last pregnancy was perfectly healthy despite my weight but I still doubt i would qualify.

It says in the advertisement that you cannot be on public assistance :-(
