What wonderfully frugal things did you do this past week? If you had any frugal goals, did you accomplish them?
My goal for the month was to stay below $300 for groceries, and (excluding pet food), I DID IT! I spent around $280 for 5 people (2 adults, 2 teen boys, 12 yr old girl)!!!!! I was also able to add to my stockpile.
I stayed way underbudget for groceries, everything I needed was on sale, plus I had a lot of coupons! Target had a baby/toddler sale and I got shirts for $6 each including a yo gabba gabba shirt. Not much more expensive then getting second hand at the thrift store.
I bought a digital camera for $20. It's a Konica/Minolta Dimage Z2, I've seen them for as much as $500. This one works great...it's just missing a memory card and the cord to plug it into the computer....which I already have from a broken camera!
I paid 1/2 price for Spanish curriculum for my kids!
I got a 8lb pork loin for $13.18. I also made laundry soap, grape jelly, and cucumber relish.
