We seem to be doing much better budgeting than we did when I was working. I guess this means I was WAY overspending on things for the kids (too many clothes) and eating out and fun things. Cutting all those things out has made a huge difference in our checking account. And I haven't even gotten my first payment for unemployment. So now that I know I CAN pay all my bills on DH paycheck then when I do start working again I can save at least half my check for rainy days and emergencies and then I can still have money for fun things and extras. And then we can use our craftshow money for home repairs and all that I want to do in my house.
Sticking to a budget makes such a difference! Great job, glad to hear you are doing well!

Isn't it funny how we are able to make it on much less than we first thought when the choice isn't there. More money more 'needs'
Sounds like you are being very smart with your budget. Congrats!
