I have never tried but I'd love to make a cobbler or a type of apple pie if that's possible.

i just pinned one on pinterest, i havent tried it yet but it looks really good

I get so lost (in a good  way) on pinterest.  So many good ideas and creativity.

ya i know what you mean, especially now that they have an app... ive gotta get on my computer one of these days and move things around cause ive just pinned things willy nilly and now i would know what board what is under lol

Ingredients

    • 1 (21 ounce) cans cherry pie filling or 1 (21 ounce) cans apple pie filling
    • 1 (18 ounce) packages yellow cake mix or 1 (18 ounce) packages white cake mix
    • 1/2 cup melted butter or 1/2 cup melted margarine

Directions

  1. Place pie filling into crock pot.
  2. Mix butter and cake mix- will be crumbly.
  3. Place cake mix mixture in crock pot over pie filling.
  4. Cook on low for 2-3 hours .

About This Recipe

"Great recipe for apple pie that bakes while you're at work. Great served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream."

Ingredients

    • 8 tart apples, peeled and sliced
    • 1 1/4 teaspoons ground cinnamon
    • 1/4 teaspoon allspice
    • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
    • 3/4 cup milk
    • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
    • 3/4 cup sugar
    • 2 eggs
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla, to taste
    • 1/2 cup Bisquick
    • 1 cup Bisquick
    • 1/3 cup brown sugar
    • 3 tablespoons cold butter

Directions

  1. Toss apples in a large bowl with cinnamon, allspice, and nutmeg.
  2. Place in lightly greased crock pot.
  3. Combine milk, softened butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla and the 1/2 cup of Bisquick.
  4. Spoon over apples.
  5. Combine the 1 cup Bisquick and brown sugar.
  6. Cut the butter into the mixture until crumbly.
  7. Sprinkle this mixture over the top of the other Bisquick mixture.
  8. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or until apples are soft.
