We had 3 chickens and went away for a night and when we came back they were gone. The cage was open. Dh thinks someone stole them. But we have no idea.

Mine are in the freezer.  We don't keep them year round.

We did have chickens, but live in an area where there are coyotes.  Uh oh!  They disappeared one night...

 We used to have them, but my kids were scared of them once they got big.  :/

yup. I have 7 of them  :)        I also have coyotes around, but so far haven't had an issue with them.

Here's my youngest with 1 of them.  Almost all the chickens like to snuggle. lol

I wanted some, figured fresh eggs would be awesome. I don't think I could kill them myself though, I'd have to give them to somebody else to kill and eat them.
