Im curious as to what you spend on groceries? I go shopping 1 time a week, we are a family if 3...dh,myself and our 10 year old dd. Im all about saving money and using my coupons. I will stock up on items if I find a great deal. Im not a stock piler. If Im just buying food.,,no paper products or laundry stuff. I usually spend about 130-150 a week. I know I can get that amount down?? Even though we live in a pretty upscale area groceries are not to bad, for instance a gallon of milk is 1.97.

DS 5, DD 3

DS has eating issues so there are specific things he can eat.

with that said, i clip LOTS of coupons.. i save aout $30-$50 a week with coupons.  i still spend about $175 a week on groceries.

so probably about $400-500 a month

I've set an $80 budget for us weekly...dh, 15 month dd and I. I have been a little under that the past few weeks though. It doesnt include household stuff like toilet paper and cleaning supplies.

I buy most meat at bjs on sale price night. And chicken i buy multiple family packs and single serve freeze in freezer bags for meals.

Family of 4.. Dh, myself, 13 yr old dd and 2 yr old ds.. I spend about $200-$225 every other week (so $100-$112.50 per week) that includes all our meals (we dont eat out), toiletries, diapers, paper products, cleaning supplies, dog food etc.

Milk here is $4.18 per gallon to give you an idea.

I find I'm spending around $250 to $350 a month for food depending on my meal choices, for a family of 2 adults, 2 teen boys, and 12 yr old DD.  I could do it for less if I had to, but I don't really want to.   I use very few if any coupons for food.  We eat meat and eggs every day and twice as many (if not more) veggies than the average family.  We also eat grain-free, meaning if I would like some baked goods then I have to purchase alternate flours which are much more expensive than grain flours.  We don't drink milk any more, which saves us purchasing 10 - 12 gallons a month.

A gallon of milk is $1.97!! It goes over $3.50 here. I'm jealous:)

I do coupon and stockpile. I just started menu planning our dinners. It has only been a week, lol, but I can already tell how much more efficient it will make my grocery shopping. I use what we have on hand. I am going to start another list with what little extras we may need.

Before menu planning, I was spending about $60 a week on groceries. Family of four. However, we also had been eating out a lot (hence the meal planning now, lol). I would say we really spent $150 a week on food with eating out. It was bad.
