Neither. We use hulu, and have a Netflix instant view account. Its way cheaper than cable, or dish. Especially since we rarely watch TV. There's a few shows we like. But we do things other than the boob tube.

We have cable because it saves us money. The basic cable which is abut fifty channels is $10 a month and we get a $15 discount on that and the Internet because it's bundled. If we got rid of cable and just used 'free' TV wed be paying $5 more a month for Internet.

No cable. No satellite. No basic TV. We only do Netflix Instant play :) $21.48/month includes 2 DVDs at a time and all we can watch instant play!

We have cable and we pay way too much. But my dh insists because our internet isn't consistent enough for hulu or netflix.
