Book-page flower ornament. Yay or Nay?

I recently threw a surprise bday party for my mom and to thank everyone for their time.. I want to send them a small gift along with their cards.
I am also super broke!

Homemade gifts are the best they have so much more meaning to them than something just bought at the store. And this one is very cute.

It's really easy! Just use an Old jar lid (I'm using ball canning lids) cut out about 20 circles and hot glue them to the lid.. Put whatever u want in the middle :) (oh yea u need to drill a hole for your string or ribbon)

I forgot to tell you that you curl the circles around something tiny, like a skewer (I'm using a drill bit lol) before you glue them

Thanks!
