We get Fraiser firs, too.  I love them!  We get our 8' for about $45.  No fake trees for us.

The most I paid was $40 for a six foot Frasier fir.  This year, I'm buying a Douglas fir for less than $20.

I don't like fake trees.

It really depends we never have a certain size in mind but the way the tree looks.  Never more that 35 dollars though! :)  It will be real!

No idea, have used same tree for 20 years.  I'm not big on decorating so the boys do it and the lights and ornaments are the same age as tree.

I have an artifical tree I bought for $15.  I always swore I would only have live trees but DH and DD are both allergic. :(

I got a fake tree at Home Depot after Christmas one year for $50 it's a 7.5 ft prelighted.  I used to get real ones but they dry up super fast here and I get rashes when I put the ornaments on.
