Anyone making homemade Christmas gifts this year?
I have seen so many great ideas for homemade Christmas gifts on Pinterest. I am making ornaments using tiles from an old Scrabble game a friend gave me and DD is making some ornaments as well. We are planning to give the finished ornaments to our friends and neighbors along with a bag of baked goodies.
Anyone else giving handmade gifts this year?
I'm making jewelery (earrings and bracelets), soap and record bowls and hangings I make from old records.
Nothing besides cookies and candy on Xmas plates for some neighbors.

I always make and pass out boxes of assorted cookies for Christmas. And this year my mom and MIL are getting a framed crossstitch I'm making them.
One year I made everyone pillowcases, I got some fabric markers and did something to fit their personality on one side, with their name and a smaller something on the other side. Everyone LOVED them. DH's gets used and washed with every sheet change and the images are holding up really well too.
I am! I'm making Peppermint bath salts (Pinterest), cookies in Mason jars and ornaments!

My mom used to do this every year for extended family. She would make a variety of cookies and candies packed in cookie tins for family members. It was always a huge hit!
