Lately I've gotten a lot of new dinner ideas and I made my first one the other night. I made pizza pasta in the crock pot and we all loved it. Very simple and easy to make.
Tonight I am trying another one. Not sure what it's called but also very easy.
Okay the
Pizza Pasta:
1 box spiral noodles (great value brand $1.00)
2.5lbs ground beef $4.67 (or water ever type of meat you want to put in it)
2 cans Hunt Traditional Pasta sauce $1.96
1-3 pks. Mozerella Cheese (depends on how cheesy you want it)
1/2 can water
Brown the hamburger, then drain and rinse.
Putt the hamburger, noodles, pasta sauce and water in the crock pot on low for 5-6 hours. You can go ahead and add the cheese but I waited until it was almost done. To cook in a shorter period of time I did low for about 2 - 2.5 hours then high for an hour.
You can also add mushrooms, olives, onions, bell peppers, ect.
It turned out really well and my sister said when she makes it she boils the noodles seperately b/c they were too squishy for her taste.
The other recipe:
Frozen Chichen breast or strips ( I actually slow cooked checken legs the night before and used that)
1 can rotel
1 can corn
1 can black beans
1 pk. of cream cheese
Rinse and drain the black beans, drain the corn, throw everything into the crock pot and cook on low for 6-8 hours. Shread the chicken on throw on rice or tortilla.
I will let you know later how this tastes. It's cooking right now and smells wonderful.
I've found some many great recipes on there! some duds, but more wins for sure! LOVE IT!
Omg, I love Pinterest! I get all good craft ideas to make and party stuff there.
