January 6 – 12, 2013


Sunday:

breakfast – almond flour pancakes

lunch – soup dinner

dinner – burger gravy over mashed potatoes, green beans


Monday:

breakfast – breakfast bake

lunch – beef & cheese spaghetti squash bake

dinner – crockpot chicken & gravy, rice, salad


Tuesday:

breakfast – hash brown waffles with sausage gravy

lunch – Caesar chicken salad

dinner – Hungarian beef, potatoes, carrots


Wednesday:

breakfast – crepes with lemon sauce

lunch – leftovers

dinner – ham w/cherry glaze, steamed broccoli mix, pineapple nut salad


Thursday:

breakfast – sausage/spinach/cheddar frittata

lunch – leftovers

dinner – provolone chicken, oven fries, green beans


Friday:

breakfast – cherry cream cheese grain-free muffins, hard boiled eggs

lunch – creamed tuna and peas over grain-free biscuits, carrot sticks

dinner – steak w/applewood rub,salad


Saturday:

breakfast - omelets

lunch – leftovers or bratwurst w/ side salad

dinner – homemade pizza, salad

Sunday Seafood chowder with Italian bread

Monday Pea soup and grill cheese sandwiches

Tuesday Pepper Steak over rice

Wednesday Leftovers of seafood chowder

Thursday Chicken Pot Pie

Friday and Saturday undecided.

For dinners: mon - burritos

tues - chicken tikka masala

wed - sweet and sour chicken with veggies

thrus - chicken korma

fri - pasta and sauce with veggies

sat-  tacos

sun - out to eat or pizza

Mon: chix pot pie
Tue: pasta & sauce
Wed: meatloaf & mashed potatoes
Thurs: pork chops
Fri: green chicken enchilada casserole
Weekend: leftovers

 Tues 1/8 meatloaf, buttered noodles, veggie, tossed salad

Wed~ baked fish, steamed rice and veggies

Still mealplanning rest of the week.  Will come back and finish

Sunday- sweet & sour chicken, potatoes & broccoli with shredded cheese

Monday- chicken adobo & rice

Tuesday- leftover adobo and chilis from SIL

Wednesday- shrimp tacos

Thursday- pork tamarind soup (crock pot)

Fruday- steak and corn

Saturday- ropa vieja (crock pot) and rice

It was going to be pot pie tonight. I had a couple Marie Calendar ones in the freezer I got on sale. Changed my mind.  I am making chicken and noodles.  I realized I had a container of chicken that should be used up soon So I got some sea shell noodles cooking  Make a sauce of chicken gravy, a little sour cream and some shredded cheese that was left from some fajitas we had last weekend.    I figured this will make enough for 2 meals.  Since it's only dh and I. Dh don't eat that big anymore. Not since some years back.  He had surgery to fix severe acid reflux problems.  The surgery made it where he can only eat smaller quantities at a time.
