Books / web sites about what to and what not to buy?

I was reading Eat This Not That  today. Some of it is based on sugar content and fat and some on economics. I wish it was all about all three and also told you what WAS in there if not fat and sugar because, that's when I assume they add other things.

Share you favs!

I want to read more on this.

What got me started was the post on the What to Make, What to Buy book.

That's kind of a tough one.  I like Nourishing Traditions for nutrition and healthy eating,  Back to Basics for self sufficient living,  How to Grow more .....by John Jeavons for sustainable gardening, www.hillbillyhousewife.com for frugal advice, The Miserly Mom for VERY frugal tips/recipes....

I can't think of any ONE resource that has all of those combined.
