Welcome to Day 7 of the Money Saver Challenge!

Do you and your significant other have different ideas about how much you should be spending or saving each month? Make an effort to get on the same page as your partner about your savings goals, what you need to eliminate from your budget, and what you should and should not be spending your money on. Talk about what you would do in certain situations, too, like extended disability or job loss.

We are both spenders but I am the one who is the bargain shopper. I enjoy finding deals and never pay full price for anything. My husband likes to spend money on things that are not important and he has been placed on buying restriction.

My husband is the saver (sometimes) and I'm the spender. We have made out a payment plan for each of his check for each month. We put down how much his check will be and what will be coming out of that check. Like the bills that need to be paid, gas for our cars, food for the house, weekend money. Once the money is gone for any of the extra stuff then we have to get by till next pay day.
