Could you go 4-6 months only buying milk and fresh produce if you had to?
Yes if my kids cut down on the amount of snacks they eat. There are 10 of us. The only thing besides milk we would need is baby formula for our 3 babies.
I JUST stocked up this week with enough food for almost 6 months, except for perishables and even then, I have a bunch of frozen veggies and fruits.
All I will need is some milk items and a few fresh veggies from now until July.
That is so incredibly awesome! Great job!
We are buying a half of a grass fed cow next week. Should keep up stocked for months.

Usually I can go about 3 mo. However usually after Christmas I try and use what ever I have stockpiled and then restock when we get our tax return... My gran was one to have food on hand that had expired years before... trying hard not to do that! :)
If we had the space for a deep freezer then I think we would be able to do it.
If most of our meals were rice lol. We buy that in bulk, a huge freaking bag. We don't have a lot of room for many things in bulk unfortunately. :(
