I got a text message from a friend yesterday afternoon.She asked me if I had registered for something for a radio station. Of course I did, but it was three years ago, so I played dumb. She gave me a number and said if it was me, I won something...or was qualified for something.
I called the number and after about three minutes, I learned I won a vacation to Cancun!!! Poor Jim was asleep when I told him, and I never expected to win (I don't win anything ever), but this was a definite surprise!
Now I'm researching info about passports since we now need them, places to board our dog, and waiting for the package to come with the details. I also have to drive to the big city an hour away to get the promotional goodies that are included.
We are SO excited! I've never been out of the country before, and Jim's never been to Mexico. This will be our reward for such a tough two years!
I am SO JEALOUS!!! Ugh, I need a real vacation so bad :( But awesome for you!! My mom wins radio contests all the time. I need a little lucky dust or something. Have a great time!
