How much do you spend on yourself?

Recent mothers and mothers to be, how much do you spend on yourself? I am trying to conceive, and keep thinking about expenses once the baby arrives - not to the point of causing myself stress of course - but when you do spend on yourself (I usually spend quite a bit on dresses and shoes), do you splurge or keep your wallet closed for the most time? Like in a month, per year?

on myself, i spend about $1000 a month, sometime more, sometimes less, that includes: lunches with the girls, mani/pedi/massages, clothes, shoes, going out to dinner/drinks with the girls.

Wow nice! I usually buy branded stuff on discount prices, and my spending goes a little above $1000, but I don't have kids, and I don't do mani/pedi (massage yes). Where do you go shopping?

I spend about $20 a month on myself. It's not cause baby is so expensive though, just because we really watch our money b

I probably send around $150 every month on myself and that is any new clothes or shoes and eating out.

I spend, maybe, $10 a month. About once every six months I will get some tops or shoes on a clearance rack. I go out, maybe once a year with a friend. Money is tight as far as extra stuff goes.

Uhm yah maybe $20 a month lol idk...I am finishing my half sleeve after 4 years on Saturday that's $300 but yah I just have a very hard time buying for myself I spend lots on my kids lol

Definitely a lot less than $1000 a month. Most definitely less than $1000 a year! Lol. I spend about $20 a month. But it is rare that I actually get stuff for myself. Only buy clothes/shoes when I need them.(meaning when pants wear out or shirts have holes, etc), I only buy make up when it needs replaced. I do not dye my hair and rarely get it cut. I trim it as much as I can and get it cut when it really needs it.
I guess you could say I am low maintenance. Lol

Wow..I'm really humbled by your responses. I was going a little over the board when I said above $1000/month, can't have that every month - but I do spend quite a bit once in a while - may be because I don't have any kids, and can hardly save - shopping is almost like a soothing therapy for me - but I should start saving. Specially with all your responses, looks like I do splurge and my friends are right. But ladies who said less than $20  - really? With eating out and may be pedi/manicure or facial? I might be wrong (I don't do mani/pedi and do my facial at home - yet still clothes and personal care are major expenses).

It varies by month but usually $300
