Do you recycle?

What do you do with them? Earn some cash, use it for projects, or just let the recycling company pick it up at your home?

Cardboard: burned in the wood furnace

Glass:  recycled to use for projects or as a grease jar

cans:  we don't use many canned goods

milk jugs:  I'll save them and use in the garden as frost covers or waterers

In MI, pop cans and bottles can be returned to the store for 10¢ each

It's mandatory in our town, you get fined if you don't, but I'd do it anyway. In warmer weather we take walks around town and pick up aluminum cans. Those we cash in at our local scrap place and put the money towards something fun.

They are picked  up by the city.  You get fined if you do not recycle.  My dh does not like clutter so I don't save anything.

I recycle everything that they'll take.  I feel like its my "job" to properly dispose of things I bought and used.  I'll also repurpose things...if I have a craft or use in mind.
