I have meantioned from time to time about how I want to get started on a food stockpile. I am not a crazy prepper but my goal is have 6 months of food on hand. baby steps but this is what I got today
25 lb jasmine rice
20 lbs hamburger
10 lbs pork loin
10 lbs chicken
5 lbs shrimp
3 lbs each of sausuage, pepperoni and bacon
6 lbs of pasta
enough canned tomatoes etc to make spaghetti sauce etc. probably will be enough to last 4 months.
10 lbs of frozen stir fry veggies. we eat stir fry probably 2-3 times a week right now
I already had flour etc at home.
this is just for short term use. I haven't started my long term storage yet
