on food each month and how big is your family? i am trying to budget our money better but feel that i am just not doing a good enough job. thanks.

It varies. Now it's just dh and I. I'm trying to keep it under 300$.

I do not track but for a family of 3, I am guessing I spend between $250-350

I can't afford more than $300 monthly for 6. But I do get Wic so that helps a lot and my kids eat breakfast and lunch at school and Dh eats at least 5 meals a week at work and doesn't eat breakfastat home much.

We just got a new SUV so it's about $300 a month. i thought I'd die when it said $80 to fill up.
