What items do you buy in bulk or economy size?  Why these items?

I buy salsa in the 64 oz size and pickles by the gallon because it does save a little money and these items are staples in our house.  We buy a new bottle of salsa every two weeks when I shop.

I also keep a steady supply of cream of mushroom, bread crumbs, and pasta. Not necessarily in bulk, but we use it a lot

beef & pork:  cheaper to buy in bulk

spices and herbs:  cheaper to buy in bulk, easier to store, and we use a  lot of them

Paper towels and ketchup. Two things we use a lot of, it's just easier to buy more and save. I buy bulk laundry soap because the store I buy it from will do a buy 1 get 2 free sale a couple times a year. I just stock up then.
