Maternity Clothes

I have officially outgrown my regular jeans and pants. I can't live in sweats forever! Any one know where I can get good maternity clothes that don't cost an arm and a leg? It seems most places charge more than regular clothes! I found some stuff on Old Navy's website that I like and seems reasonable but I thought I'd ask you ladies.

Shopping second hand for maternity clothes can be hard for me. I'm a small and its impossible to find them in that size.

I had some luck at Target and Kohls. I watched for sales. You are right about price...they always seem more expensive than regular clothes.

I'll have to check Target today. I went to Kohl's yesterday and it was pretty outrageous and they barely had anything. BUT I did score a maternity dress on clearance for $6 after my $10 Kohl's promotion they emailed me. I was pretty happy! I think I'll live in dresses this summer lol

Matherhood maternity now offers a "beginners set."  It is the basics for cheap.

I get mine through online garage sale sites on facebook and motherhood maternity. I got 2 pair jeans for $30/ea. That's about what I spend on reg pants. When I hit 4 mo I couldnt fit in my reg pants anymore. I found some online. Motherhood has some good sales right now, so doen oldnavy. Even gap can ge affordable if you find the good sales.

I usually buy the regular, non-maternity items on clearance at Target but in a couple of sizes larger - tops and dresses work well with this plan, obviously I have to buy maternity pants, I bought good quality ones my 1st pregnancy from Motherhood maternity and Old Navy and have taken the best care of them I can and they have lasted me through 4 pregnancies....

I was a HUGE fan of online consignments when I was pregnant with my last!

I was pregnant last summer- she was born in September. I wore a lot of regular dresses- the maxi dresses are perfect style for a growing belly, especially the knit ones. Also I wore regular skirts that were elastic waisted. Pair it with a maternity tee or tank and it was perfect. I also liked the knit fold over skirts, target and old navy had them last year, I think I've seen them somewhere this year. I have a purple, grey, and black. I'll certainly be pulling them back out this summer!
