That's great! Your menu sounds great, too. You've just inspired me to figure out what I actually have in fridge, freezer and cupboards. : )

Quoting Kimberlynn:

What is hamburger salad and doggie skillet? Sounds interesting!

Cheeseburger salad:  1 lb. ground beef, browned;  6 to 8 cups torn salad greens; 1 large tomato, diced; 24 oz. jar dill pickles, drained and chopped (we like pickles!); sliced green onion; 2 c. (8 oz.) shredded cheddar cheese; dressing made of 3/4 to 1 c. mayonnaise and 3 Tbsp. prepared yellow mustard

doggie skillet:  kids came up with this name for a mix of fridge leftovers:  any meat (chopped if needed), cooked rice, any leftover veggies, and they usually make a sauce of leftover soup or tomato sauce.  I let them make it and it's usually pretty good!  Looks a lot like dog food, though.
