Frugalistas Frugalistas

Completely OT: Sometimes it's the little things

DF took the boys out to practice their driving.  The goal is to have their full-fledged licenses by the end of this month.  We always try to incorporate purposeful errands so it's not just aimless driving.  Yep, I even plan frugal driving practice.  LOL.  So, I guess I'm that far off topic after all.  LOL.

Anyway...

I just went upstairs to put away some laundry and I noticed a new bag of cotton balls on the bathroom counter.  I use them for taking off makeup, applying toner, 1st aid, etc.  I came down and thanked him, of course.  And, then, he said, "I saw you had only 3 left in your little container.  So, the boys and I stopped off to get you some more."

Ya know, sometimes it's the littlest things that just make my day!

LOL Love it! I love guys who notice things like that!

When I was learning to drive, the school portion, the teacher I had lived in my neighborhood, so my dad would drop me off at his house and I'd drive to school and usually that's where mine would end and he'd pick up the other people and I wouldn't have to be subjected to the other new drivers. it was a sweet deal!

That really is sweet.  And it is good of you to recognize those little gestures.  It sounds like you have a happy home.  :-)
