What can I use these in?

Posted by   + Show Post

Anyone have any good ideas for uses with crunched up chips, crackers, tortilla chips, nacho tortilla chips, etc so that they aren't just thrown away?  I have used them for casserole toppings is all & all I made was a tuna casserole with potato chips & a taco casserole with the tortilla chips.  Any other ideas?

This sounds odd, but if you are a fan of salty/sweet combo, use your favorite snickerdoodle cookie recipe and instead of rolling in cinnamon sugar, roll in crushed potato chips.   -- try it!

Maybe crush them up and bread your chicken? My mom used to do that with corn flakes.

You can use them instead of bread crumbs on chicken. Like chicken fingers-nuggets from scratch. I remember my grandma doing that a time or two when I was a kid.

It seems like I've heard of a recipe where you crush potato chips and use them as a coating for chicken breasts.  I'll see if I can find the recipe.

Put them in salads for extra crunch.

When you make taco's maybe use those and do a salad instead.
