Something to add to this...

Not only is the day you buy important, but also, when making a MAJOR purchase, such as appliances, autos, high end electronics...its manufacture day is important as well.  If your large purchase was manufactured on a Monday or a Friday, move on.  Big ticket items such as these that are manufactured on Monday or Friday, have more issues.  Mondays, nobody wants to be there...so they give less attention to their work.  On Fridays, everyone rushes through their work because they want to hurry up and get the weekend started.

As silly as that sounds, I learned this from a Jenn-Aire repairman who had to keep doing warranty work on my $2k convection oven.  Come to find out, ours had been manufactured on a Monday.

My daddy sold major appliances for Sears for decades after he got out of the Navy.  I asked him about what the repairman had said.  And, he said it was most certainly true.  There were more repair records for items made on Mondays and Fridays than ones made on the rest of the days of the week.

Actually, the best time to buy school supplies is not September. It's July or August. If you wait till September you'll have no selection available for the low prices they advertise. I see it ALL the time at Target. People trying to buy school supplies right before or right after school starts and then getting mad when there's nothing left lol

Thank you so much for this list! My market usually give you 5% off on Tuesdays if you're a senior citizens. Macys have coupon days on most Thursday-Fridays,sometimes offering up to 20% off your purchase. I love zucchini and asparagus,it's good to know May,June are sale months. And, I do stock up on condiments, such as ketschup, mustard, relish, bbq sauce most markets offer condiments 3/$1.00 in May before Memorial Day. Tfs.
