This week's menu looks a little different from the usual.  I'm giving my family a week "off" from a total primal diet and let them each pick something they'd like to eat and make themselves.  This is also a week that I'll be watching my granddaughter overnight from Monday morning to Tuesday late, and I will more than likely be canning green beans at least one day, so I'm making this easy for me.

July 21 – 27, 2013

Sunday:

breakfast – omelets, berries

lunch – smoked pork loin, sweet potatoes, salad

dinner – oven fried chicken, oven fries, green beans, homemade chocolate pudding

Monday: note: start chicken wings in crockpot for bone broth

breakfast – breakfast bake w/sausage, veggie juice

lunch - pepperoni rolls for the kids, chef salad

dinner – goulash, salad (Trevor's meal)

Tuesday:

breakfast – grain-free banana pancakes, sausage, juice

lunch – cheeseburger salad

dinner – teriyaki chicken & veggies (Beth's meal)

Wednesday:

breakfast – spinach/ham/cheddar frittata, berries

lunch – homemade veggie soup, choice of GF chunky monkey muffins or dbl. Choc. Zucchini muffins

dinner – meatloaf, baked potatoes, green beans

Thursday:

breakfast – grain-free berry waffles, veggie juice

lunch – tuna chef salad OR tuna patties & side salad

dinner – parmesan chicken, sweet potato salad (Dylan's meal)

Friday:

breakfast – leftover GF pancakes & waffles, veggie juice

lunch – leftover soup & muffins

dinner – wet burritos, salad (Darren's meal)

Saturday:

breakfast – omelets, Canadian bacon, juice

lunch – leftovers

dinner – pizza, salad

1 - 2 sweet potatoes, peeled, cubed, and boiled until just fork tender

4 hard boiled eggs, diced

1/2 lb. bacon, diced and cooked

3/4 to 1 c. mayonnaise

dill weed, to taste

The amounts vary depending on the size of the potatoes and personal preference.  It's a simple salad yet very satisfying.

OP your meals sound so yummy!!....I have not made a meal plan in a long time,I should start again so I can have some variety in our dinners instead of eating the same old stuff, breakfasts are quick and easy during the week because my children go to summer camp,it's mainly just bagels and bowls of cereal,on the weekends I occasionaly make hot breakfasts if I have the energy, the kids take their lunches to summer camp.

easy peasy

Sun- hamburgers/hotdogs; Mon- pasta; Tues- fish; Wed- sandwich/soup; Thurs- chicken; Fri- fish or pasta; Sat- breakfast for dinner

Everyweek. This is for warmer months, colder weather has a few differences. Makes food last longer and  allows for new recipes just same main food.
