Back-to-School Tax-Free Weekends: Is Your State Participating?

While some stores posted back-to-school sales early this year (with some starting before the 4th of July!), it may have been hard to wait. After all, getting your kids ready for the new school year doesn’t often come cheap. Between new clothes and an endless list of school supplies (not to mention that new backpack they just have to have), getting an early start to shopping has its upsides.

But if you held off, consider the upcoming tax-free weekends your reward. Here’s how you can cash in by state (click for more details on specifics, like which items are considered tax-free):

Yes. I am in Maryland. We don't have a tax free weekend we have a whole week. This year tax free week is August 11-17.
