Welcome to Day 8 of the 12 Days of Holiday Savings Challenge!

Have you ever traded services with your friends? Watch your neighbor's or friend's kids one day and let them watch yours for you another day. This can be a great way to save costs on babysitting so you can get your holiday shopping done or attend a Christmas party without the little ones in tow.

Do you have any friends or neighbors you could trade services with?
How often would you take advantage of this idea?

I do have friends that we did this with when the kids were younger!

Our anniversary is the 17th of December and we used the babysitting swap so that we could go out for that.

When my kids were younger we did this all the time.

I also have done things like trade my spa products for someone else's jewelry, and we both were able to give gifts to others.  :-)

Yes, we've done this often. It's a relief knowing they had someone to play with and were happy about going.

With my older children I did swap with a friend.  My youngest I have needed to be home with this past year so I do things while he is at school.

Sadly we really do not. Most of our friends live far away.
