I've heard that postal stamps are increasing from 46 cents to 49 cents on January 26.
I think you're right.
Boo! Better go buy some before they do, thanks for the warning.

That's still not bad to get a letter from one end of this country to the other. Can't buy a candy bar for 50 cents anymore. And I haven't been buying any either! I have several Forever stamps left and I will use them sparingly. We pay our bills online but I have an elderly lady that writes to me from the eastern part of NC. I met her through a church service we had in her area. She is so sweet to write even though she is in the nursing home now and I can hardly read her handwriting. She sent me $5 when my grandson was born so I could get him a gift from her and I almost cried because of her thoughfulness. So yes, I will spend 49 cents to send her some mail....
I send maybe 5-6 letters a year so... its really not gonna affect me. Plus for the service they offer - taking my letters several states away.. I dont mind paying 50 cent
I didn't mean to offend anyone over three cents. It's just that this is a group about frugality and Forever stamps can be bought at 46 cents now and still used to mail a letter after the price increases..
