I will NOT...

What are some things that you will NOT do... even if you have the money to do them?

Things you see other people do that just do not make sense to you...

Here are a couple of mine:  I will not lease a brand new vehicle.  (I have a SIL doing this right now).  I would rather own an old beater, or get a loan from a bank if necessary, than lease a vehicle no matter how nice it is.  It just does not make sense to me financially.  Making car payments for something reliable is one thing, but a lease... No thank you!

I will not rent furniture.  (I have neighbors that do this).  I will either buy something from  a yard sale to get by, or save up until I can buy something nicer.

I will not rent furniture. I will not lease or buy a brand new vehicle. I will not have a recurring credit card balance unless it literally is life or death.

I will pay full price only for medical care for my child(ren) and my pets.

I will not buy bargain brand toilet paper, we end up using five times as much.
Same with laundry detergent.

I will not let df buy any more yugioh cards until he gets rid of one of the suitcases full of them in my attic.

I will not buy soda unless it is for guests or a party (like dfs birthday party)

I will not loan money to anyone but My mother and grandfather. Possibly my baby sister too.

I will not buy name brand just because of the label.

I will not buy furniture with anything but cash unless it is an emergency ( such as my recliner breaks, my wheelchair etc)

I WILL pay full price for good kitty litter, natural healthy foods and a safe place to live.

Buy on time, take out a loan, because you never know what's in the future.

I will not ever have debt again unless its a car or a house.

I will not loan money I give it if I can depending on who you are otherwise the answer is no.

I will not be guilted into spending money because people think I dont have any fun. ( I get this a lot from people who are in debt up to their eyeballs) Plus i don't know what they are talking about I have fun all the time and do many things.

I pretty much refuse to pay full price on anything because I know I don't have to. lol

I will not :

Buy a New car from a car dealership-ever--cash only saved up and no payments ever

Rent Furniture - we bought all our furniture at a clearance center --cash

Buy any food with high sodium, msg, or high fructose corn syrup

Buy Laundry Detergent- I make my own

Buy any kind of soda for me or my family--we dont drink it and take care of our teeth

Buy our clothes in a mall or pay full price--We love thrift stores

Buy Cable for TV--never had it--will have Netflix instead for a year now

Buy a car or house without negotiating

Pay full price for groceries - I use coupons or buy store brands

Ever do business with friends or family

Try and keep up with the Jones(Neighbors) on toys(cars) and technology(computers, tv, ipads, cell phones or latest gadgets)

Brag about what I have --modesty and humbleness is way better

Live a lavish lifestyle --I will always be true and live below my means!

Buy cheaply made shoes.  Not saying cheap.  Cheaply made.

I also will not pay for cable tv.  We love Netflix, and it is a lot more affordable!

I will not go into debt for anything that is not necessary.  In my mind necessary items include: an education, a home, a vehicle, and unexpected medical expenses that are not covered by insurance.  (often you can use savings and don't ever have to go into debt if you plan well).

I will never rent furniture.

I will never use credit to buy things I can't pay in cash (we use a credit card for air miles and then pay it off right away).

I will never go into debt to provide my kids with a Christmas or Birthday party.

I will never spend ridiculous amounts of money on a house payment for an almost nothing house. I will buy my houses for cheaper and fix them up.

I will never live in a bad school district area or bad area for my kids, even if it's cheaper (and it is, by a lot).

I will never dress my kids or I liks slobs. It drives me nuts when I see parents or kids dressed like they have given up.
