Other than meat, pet food or cleaning supplies, what is the most expensive thing on your grocery list?

I used to buy Velveeta to make macaroni and cheese or queso, but I stopped buying it since it's almost $7. I suppose that's a good thing since it's terrible for you.

I guess dairy then. Pet food and cleaning supplies are some of the cheaper items on our grocery list.

By volume, it's spinach. I pay $6.99 for fifteen ounces.

Milk is up to $4.25 where I live.  Thankfully, I can find it cheaper than that at Sam's Club.
