June 29 – July 5, 2014


Sunday:

breakfast – banana waffles, juice

lunch – chicken or ham salad

dinner – pulled pork, coleslaw, taffy apple salad


Monday:

dinner – artichoke chicken, glazed carrots, salad


Tuesday:

dinner – tacos, salad


Wednesday:

dinner – grilled chicken legs, potato & veggie packets


Thursday:

dinner – crock pot meatloaf, green beans, apple fruit salad


Friday:

dinner – grilled sausage, cucumber salad, chips, deviled eggs, strawberry shortcake/ice cream


Saturday:

dinner – pizza, salad

Add a strawberry pie to our dinner tonight....DH picked 10 - 12 quarts of beautiful berries this morning!

cucumber slices, sliced onion, vinegar & cream dressing with a sprinkle of homemade dry ranch dressing mix.  I may add tomato slices if I have any left by then.

Sounds good. My grandma made hers with vinerger, sour cream and sugar

how do you shop for this? im just thinking that if i bought cucmber on sunday....it MIGHT be shriveled by friday. thats what happens here. i put 5 dinners or so on the fridge in no order and find out i cant do part of one in a few days because something went bad....i know it sounds like a simple fix but i dont want to be going to the store 2 times a week and i like to have a lot of veggies around

Buy two - three fresh, firm cucumbers.  I used one for Sunday dinner, the other goes in a Debby Meyer green bag in the crisper drawer.  Those bags WORK...they're no gimmick.

Sunday - Turkey & bacon wraps
Monday - chicken Teriaki w/pineapples and lime stir fry
Tuesday - Peppered chicken Alfredo
Wednesday - ham sandwiches with chips
Thursday - grilled marinaded chicken with corn
Friday - grilled chicken on salad (leftover chicken from Thursday)
Saturday - grilled sausage, peppers and onions w/sauerkraut

Guess we're having a chickeney week :P
