be flexible and have a good attitude.  Premake what you can and freeze it.

Have fun!

We tent camp at least once a year. Here's what we've learned....

Take our Keurig and extension cord for "real" coffee.

Take our griddle....great for breakfast stuff.

Also set tent up near public restroom...easier to get up in middle of the night.

We also take a fan with us. I have a battery powered one I picked up at Walmart.

We love our air matresses, blankets, and pillows.

I let the kids bring their stuff animals too.

We eV have a french press that I adore for coffee. I love my keurig for ease but nothing beats the press for taste imo. :) I totally forgot to check how close to bathrooms we are. Oops!

Bring lots of things to entertain the kids,  extra clothes, warms clothes rain gear. Bring lots of snacks.  I like to prepare the food I'm going to grill and have veggies all cut up and in foil so I don't have to do it at camp.

Prep everything you can at home for cooking. Take insect repellent and sunscreen.

Sounds like fun.  I used to be queen of the campfire cooking in our family. Due to dh being disabled with MS.  We had to sell our camper.  He could not enjoy it properly.  With how the MS messed him up.

Nice!  I love camping and so do my kids....DH hates it so we've never gone.
