Tight/saggy clothes.

I found work pants on clearance but my actual size was uncomfortable and tight on the waist area so I went one size up. The size up pants are comfortable but saggy around the zipper area. I was hoping washing and drying them will shrink, but didn't work. Any suggestions on how I can shrink these work pants a little more? Thanks.

Did you try hot water and a too hot dryer?

Not yet. I did warm water and medium heat. I'll try it out. Thanks.

If they are only saggy in one area, you will need to tailor them, not just wash and dry them.

Maybe it would be better to have them tailored? I am short and I'm always getting my pants tailored. It sucks, I can't ever just buy pants and wear them without alterations being made.

I second having them tailored.

Same here sounds like they need to be tailored.

Yes agree on the tailoring. If that's too expensive try to do it yourself or maybe get help from a friend who sews.

what type of fabric are they made of? you may have to take them in by sewing. try them on inside out and use pins to pinch the extra material.
