I wanted something with a cord this time and I had to have it yesterday so I went to Target. This little machine is pretty good. Sucks up more then the Swiffer Vac but the head doesn't swivel. That is driving me nuts. I miss the pad on the Swiffer that was a real bonus.
This Dirt Devil was under $20. Can't beat that and it works well. I'm still on the look out for a stick type vac that swivels and has a cord or if not has great suction.

I have a compact Hoover vacuum. I got it on clearance a couple of years ago. It still works great.
