Windows 8 and facebook calling download

I have windows 8 pro now and when i download the video calling on facebook i download it but its like facebook doesnt recognize my download. Same with google calling.. Yes i run the download. and i have tried on several different browsers explorer waterfox and firefox and chrome no luck anyone else having this problem or even better have a solution?

I believe there is a place called a geek squad somewhere on the net. Maybe you can search for that and see if that will help.
