My baby girl was born at Nov. 29th at 38 weeks  and was only 6lbs 9oz. but was born with the cord wrapped very tightly around her neck.  She went to NICU and was on IV to open up her veins and was supposed to be sent to regular nursery the next day and be sent home with me but things didn't go as planned.  Her doctor in NICU noticed she was not eating the amount that he wanted her to.  She ended up staying in NICU for 2 weeks, trying to eat the amount they wanted her to.  It was frusterating knowing that from expierence babies will eat what they want and when they want..but they had her on a schedule that if she didn't eat 55cc's in 20 minutes exactly every 3 hours..they would hold her back more days.  She came home Dec. 12th 2006.
