So you've received your diagnosis...now what?  Biomedical, nutritional, alternative, occupational therapy, speech therapy, physical therapy, neurobehavioral pschology, ABA, early intervention, socialization.  What does it all mean? And how do you know what's right for YOUR child?

Let your fellow moms help you navigate the dizzying sea of treatment options!

In the replies below, you can tell us what has (and hasn't) worked for YOUR family, or share your questions to find support and answers from your fellow moms!

Dean gets Occupational Therapy (OT) and speech,  etc.......

Also in the future when we get money we are going to detox Dean.  They are going to run a test to see if he has too much yeast or heavy metals in his body (we are 100% sure it's the heavy metals) and then "pull" them out of his body.  he will never be cured but this will help him.  Can't wait.  :)

I have twins with autism and yes, if I were you I would ask the pediatrician to send you for an evaluation.  Better to be safe than sorry.  If there is a problem you can get started on getting them help early when it is most beneficial.
