most are sensitive to sound, so introducing those they do not like at an early age, that cant be avoided like vacumes will allow time for them to eventually be neutral to it or react less to it

most moms arent experts on the disorder, but are experts of their own children. watch stucy and learn from your own childs behavior.

you may have a contrary view on what causes it to others, just know there is not 100% proof of what causes it being clarified. there have been studies on numerous theories but non are 100 percent for sure accurate. always keep that in mind. theories are just theories.

I have a son who just turned 4. He was diagnosed with autism. Before he started his treatments (occupational & sppech) I was scared that there was no way he could make it if something happened to me. So I set off on our journey to do anything and everything to provide resources and everyday life skills for my son and also peace of mind for me. Between therapy, family physician, ear nose and throat dr, neuro psycologist , , family and most of all god london has shown major improvments. There is hope and every kid deserves the best plans and treatments that help them suceed. Many thank yous go out to everone blessed enough to be part of his life

I've learned that no matter what I love my son.

I've learned there are good days and bad days.

I've learned not to care what others may think if my son is acting out or having a bad day.

I've learned that sometimes you don't need words.

I've learned there will be paperwork, lots and lots of paperwork.

I've learned to always ask questions, a lot of questions. To any one that I think might help.

I have learned that my daughter's needs are just as important. (she truly is an amazing little sister who loves her brother very much)

I've learned to start getting ready to go with lots of extra time.

Most of all I have learned to listen. This is a long road and there is so much information out there. People offer advice, so I listen. The best thing is no matter what I hear I get to choose what will work best for us. It's all trial and hopefully not to much error!
