Does your child do this? I just found out the term the other day. My son will try to say something, he'll get part of a sentence out and then he gets stuck and starts over. He'll do this several times before he can actually finish what he wanted to say (or he just forgets about it completely and does something else).
Have any of you dealt with this? I'm curious if it's something his speech therapists have been working on with him, or are they aware that he does it? I need to ask them.
Oh and growing up, my oldest brother always had a bit of a stutter, though I think it was more of a block. But he also developed seizures that he let go untreated for years, so now he has a full blown stutter. I do hope there is not a connection.
