Welcome to the group! My boys are 3.5. Their meltdowns are about 4-5x a week but that could very well be because they are still toddlers and also because they can't communicate with us yet. One of them is still mostly non verbal.

Hello and welcome. Oh yes mine had them daily. If it were just him but I have four boys. So far only one dx With autism but three are borderline and yet to be diagnosed as having autism. Just this morning David had a melt down about his blankly for school. Almost couldn't get him on the bus. I like the go with the flow. In time you tend to see it coming and sometimes it hits you like a deer in head lights. Patients and understanding is key. Take care hope to hear more from you and your grandson.:):):):)
