Looking for parents of asperger's/autistic children in the Jacksonville, NC area

Hello everyone.  I'm new to this group.  I am looking for parents of asperger's children in the Jacksonville, NC to meet up with.  Trying to find a support group for this. Having issues with my 10yr old Asperger's son's school and just need to find if anyone has had trouble with their children's schools and how they went about handling it.  Thank you for the opportunity to post in this group.

I have only lived in NC for 19 months so idk where Jacksonville is, but I live in charlotte (kids go to school in Huntersville through the CMS public schools) I also am having extreme difficulty with my 13yr olds school. He is put in ISS 2-5 times a week and suspended out of school at least twice a month despite the fact that he has an IEP BIP.
