Strange food cravings while on meds?

My son's been on meds for about 2 months now and is having very strange food cravings.  Today for lunch I made Tuna and he begged me to add banana peppers to his.  I figured he's the one that has to eat it so no big deal.  Then he goes to the fridge and gets ranch dressing.  At this point I'm ready to gag but hey whatever he wants.  While eating I ask, does that even taste good?  His reply "Its the best tuna I've ever had"  This is like the 3rd time he has ate something really strange after starting meds.  Last time he added pickles to his pizza.  Just wondered if anyone else has experienced this?

It can happen.  :)  As long as he eats it I guess it wouldn't bother me too much.  :)  Actually sounds kind of good....lol
