Autism - Support Across the Spectrum Autism - Support Across the Spectrum

Particularly those of you with younger kids, what kind do you get? I'm thinking of ordering from there regularly because I can get it sent automatically on a specified schedule. I can tell he's not to crazy about the Spring Valley ones I get him (and he couldn't even swallow the Nature's Bounty ones). The Natrol liquid he says makes him feel nervous (it has vanilla in it which is one of his suspected allergens, so not sure if that is the issue).

Soooooooooo, before I order anything, I need opinions.

I get the Natrol brand, raspberry/vanilla liquid. My son takes it- 1.5 mgs and it works like a charm! It's a purple bottle with a moon and stars on it.  :-)

This is my go-to. I think the caps are great. I used it when we were moving 2 years ago.

Walmart has a chewable five mg melatonin pill.  I think its either cherry or strawberry flavor; I have tried them and they taste great.  They are chewable/fastmelts.

Quoting marisab:

does any one know if there is a liquid or chewable in 5 mg that works but all i can find is 1 mg dont anna make him chew them

We also use the NOW Liquid Melatonin, and my son likes it.  He gives me no issues with taking it, and with the dropper, I can give him a smaller amount than listed.
